System Update Loop

Installed system update yesterday. No errors. But, after notification that update installed, immediately says UPDATE PENDING and installs the update again. 

Please help. 

Love the phone and no other issues. 

Tried to chat with customer support, but just get errors after I fill out the forms.

Same issue s22 ultra. Keeps downloading and installing the same update over and over

This is a defect that needs to be fixed. I am at the latest rev and still being prompted hard to update. Have cleared system cache, etc. I'm going to switch to an iPhone if I end but needing a complete reset

Try using Samsung Smart Switch from a PC or Mac. It worked for me.

Solution: I downloaded Samsung Smart Switch to my PC and my phone. Connected them via USB. I put the laptop in charge. Clicked install update on the PC. It took about 40 minutes, but it worked. UI 7.0 is replaced with 8.0. No issues now.

Is there a Samsung representative on this thread? If auto-update hasn't been working for months, this is a major concern. Not to mention a PIA going through all these updates.

Apparently the security patch level goes up with every update. So youd have to keep updating until you reach the latest, ex: October 1, 2025 level

It's absurd that we are a week after this issue being reported and the advice we have is to let the updates run it's course. There are a lot of smart people working for Samsung that should be able to patch this up. I'm not tech savvy so the instructions for a work-around were lost on me. I can't recall how many updates my phone has gone through now but it better be close to being done

Same issue here, started a couple of days ago, it updated maybe 5 times. Eventually stopped. 2 days passed, now today, it started again.

Very frustrating. I have never had an issue with Samsung for over ten years until now.
