When moving photos from gallery to an album, they aren't deleting off gallery

They delete from Gallery in my S22 when I move to another album, but not my sister's and she has same phone. She ends up with duplicate photos. If she tries to delete from gallery it also deletes from other album. What setting does she need

I moved to new album and still have the pics in the camera and pictured eventhough after I moved them

That is not true
When I move them from recent photos on my phone storage to a folder I create on my sd storage
And then delete from phone it deletes BOTH copies
And when I move it - it's still in my phone gallery too

Not so, if you MOVE it, the phone just duplicates the photo in an album. If you try to delete it, the phone deletes the original also. in this case, there is no difference in move and copy. It does the same no matter what.

At this time (until I get my **bleep** to a TMobile store to see if They know), I downloaded Amazon Photos & now they're stored there.

Samsung could solve this very quickly and easily in the next update.

They simply need to add an option to:

"Hide moved images from Picture Gallery"

in the drop down menu.

This has been the bane of my life, since switching from Apple to Samsung.

Come on Samsung, you know it makes sense.

On my old Samsung Galaxy 2 Tab, moving a photo an album deleted automatically from the gallery but this new setup is annonying. With 11,000 photos how do I keep track of what is in an album and what is not. Not a happy camper.
