I dont think that u have to be only on tmobile to enroll into beta, i use att but u1 version. All u1 version will get it and tmobile carrier locked users will get the updates too.. as far as i know verizon and att never participate in the beta program but tmo does .

Not based on the Beta Announcement I read here.  T-Mobile participated in the S24 beta, not the S23 Beta, I am reading that your device had to be Factory Unlocked (ends in U1)

Again, having Verizon is not the entire picture.  If your device ends in a U and NOT a U1 then you would be correct.  Factory unlocked devices (Model name ends in U1 in the about phone screen) are eligible for the beta from ANY carrier.

The good news here is that, at least with previous roll outs like this one, the betas for older devices is usually much shorter, and is more just to verify that the one they created for the newer devices is able to be adapted easily for the older ones.
