Is there a way that you can lock the messages. I have a galaxy 23. Do I have to upgrade my phone to get this feature or is it just not available? We've always been ahead of the iPhone. But I don't have that option in my phone.
You would have to put the messaging app in the secure folder, but I don't know how that would affect your notifications or incoming messages. Why does anyone have acess to your phone, and why give them access if you don't want them to access whatever is on there?
Honestly, the only people who have access to my phone are my nieces and nephews. They're getting to an age where they can read now and I just don't want them to read the wrong thing when they have my phone. Just a precaution. I don't want them reading bad words or something from the girls group chat. Just being cautious.
You can try parental controls or Samsung Kids. I think you can restrict apps and turn it on and off. I don't use parental controls, so I am not sure. There are also third party app lock apps in the Play store
