Do not disturb doesn't stop message notifications from favourites

When my phone is set to do not disturb I usually have it set to recieve calls from my favourites. 

I do not want to recieve message notifications however so I have the option set to recieve message notifications from none. Yet I still get message notifications from my favourites whilst do no disturb is enabled. How do I stop this
