Have to scroll apps instead of swipe

This is the worst update I've ever seen. The visuals are horrible. I have to scroll my apps instead of swiping and cant change it so i have no idea where anything is because it was all muscle memory. I have to relearn how to work my phone when its been basically the same for years?! If i wanted to make my life harder I'd just get a iPhone. I don't want all these extra AI visuals i had everything customized to how i wanted it. Please put it all back this is awful

People should be suspended for what they did in this update. How tf do you make things worse as you go. They're supposed to be better. If it isn't broke don't fix it. Way easier the other way. Idiots

You can change your app drawer back to the horizontal scroll (pages) but, unfortunately and outrageously, Samsung decided that people who want the horizontal scroll don't deserve to have their apps in alphabetical order.  So, one has to choose, vertical and alphabetical or horizontal and random (excuse me, "custom").  Anyway, to change it back to horizontal, tap the dot menu in the search bar, select "sort" and choose custom.  If you want your apps alphabetical, you have to manually arrange them that way.  If you want to organize by type of app, you have to manually organize them that way.  You will have to add any new apps into the order you want them.  All new apps will appear at the end.  Express your outrage by submitting feedback in the support tab of the members app. The developers do not see the outrage here.  Enough feedback on it, and they may change it in a future update.

I didn't know that it went Horizonal. Mines been vertical since I got it. Love it that way.

Thank you for this! It took FOREVER, but I painstakingly put all my apps in alphabetically order going horizontally. I recognize that they are trying to match Apple, but one thing I have learned over the years is that once a customer has decided on a device, they RARELY switch (if they do, it's usually AWAY from Apple, in my opinion.)

Stop trying to emulate the iPhone. They have their own way of doing things that I have been averse to since I switched to android and I'm NEVER going back.

Some of the changes were Android changes so, if you can, go to a physical store and sample the phones.

Yep, I totaly agree with hese comments. I have had nothing but troube with the last update. I dislike the new icons too! Yuck!
