I just accidentally deleted our Message thread on my wife's phone, S23+. I can find no way to go to the Trash or Recycle bin to undelete it. I can't even find files in my files.

How do I get it back?

There is no trash or recycle for messages. Once they are gone, they are gone, unless you use an app that backs up text messages.

If you did back up your messages, you can recover them by following the instructions below.
1) Swipe down with two fingers from the top of your home screen to open the notification panel.
2) Tap the settings gear.
3) Scroll up and tap Accounts and backup.
4) Tap Backup and restore.
5) Tap Restore data.
6) Select Messages, and tap Restore.

If you deleted them from within the Gallery app, go to the Gallery, click the menu and then look in the trash.  Deleted photos are kept in trash for 30 days.  Google backs up pictures to Google Photos by default, unless you turned it off.  You can also try going to photos.google.com, sign into your account and see if your photos are there. If you deleted the photos from within the Photos app, then you also deleted them from the Google backup, but they also stay in Google's trash for 30 days.
