How do I get rid of this 2nd keyboard bar?

My text input line suddenly split from the emojis and insert buttons line, taking up two rows now instead of one. Does anyone know how to remove this? I can't seem to find it in keyboard settings and resetting to default keyboard settings didn't remove it either.

I've heard that Google changes things like this fairly often. At least Samsung usually adds options to Good Lock first to see if people like them before making changes.
