Recent Apps not working and printer not responding

My last update has caused issues on my Samsung S23. When I have 2-3 apps running and click on the 3 vertical bars to pull them up, when I click on a particular app it disappears and is replaced with an app not even listed in my choices. This happens every so often. I also find I'm having trouble at times getting my printer to respond. I never had these issues before the last update. Samsung support suggested putting my phone in safe mode but it didn't resolve printing issues.

Hello, welcome to the Community, and thanks for reaching out. I can see how inconvenient it is for recent apps to not work properly as well as your printer not responding. Thank you also for letting us know about trying Safe mode and it not working for printing issues. Just to clarify, did it help recent apps? Also, have you tried a factory reset? Back up everything you can beforehand (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002780/) then perform the factory reset: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002030/

Also, have you tried troubleshooting the printer, such as seeing if other devices can use it just fine, or isolating if it's the phone or the printer?
