I'm having a issue with my pen it's not connecting when it is inserted

Go to settings>advanced settings>S Pen> and with the s pen inserted fully into the phone, tap the three dots in the top right corner, and then tap reset default s pen

I've been doing that for the past few hours

Then call samsung technical support. Also there are tests that you can do in this app.

No help tried the test they want me to trade in phone

When you say trade in? Are you talking about trade in towards a purchase of a new phone? Or are you talking about a replacement? Because honestly a replacement may be your best option unless you're willing to do a purchase. And in that case I would say go to samsung.com and do the pre-registration on the foldables. You get $50 extra or whatever if you end up doing the pre-order if you do that pre-registration with no requirement to purchase anything.

You can reset the pens connection and reconnect it as a new device .

Just reset the connection you have from your spen screen up at the top it will allow you to reset your connection! When it fixes it tag me for the resolution please
