At the end of May 2024 (conveniently a few weeks after the 1-year warranty expired) my S23+'s main camera stopped focusing properly. Everything was blurry all the time. I reset the camera settings, I updated the camera app, I ensured my phone was up-to-date, I cleaned the lens, I rebooted the phone, and I event did a factory reset. Nothing helped. I tried using the Members app to do troubleshooting, but it did not provide much information (though I did submit an error report). Finally went to one of the uBreakiFix locations that Samsung/Asurion partners with. They replaced all three of my cameras, but the middle / main camera still cannot focus, no matter what I do. I submitted another error report via the Members app, but at this point I don't know what else to do. The uBreakiFix technicians were no help at all when I tried to ask about why even the new camera didn't work. They are essentially drones who just replace the hardware and don't do any other thinking or troubleshooting. Either I got really unlucky to receive a replacement camera that had the exact same problem as the original camera, or I have somehow stumbled on a unique edge case that no one else has encountered. Either way, I am extremely unhappy and frustrated with the lack of information / options available to me.

If that doesn't work I would recommend contacting Samsung customer service

I contacted them and after verifying that I had replaced the camera already, they offered me a trade-in deal on a new S24+ (which I accepted)
