S23 Ultra Text unable to locate Messaging app

Super frustrating! I can't seem to find my text messaging app easily. I'm using Messages but it's "hidden" in the phone and I can only see it when someone texts me.

Have you tried long pressing the home screen until you get the widget settings themes and wallpaper at the bottom of your phone and then proceed to click on settings and you should come to a menu page and you should be able to see hidden apps

Hold down an empty space on the home screen. Then tap on settings and look above. It may have been hidden.
