I have an esim as primary and while travelling I buy a local physical sim. While my first italian esim has under network mode all possible options ( 5g/4g/3g/lte) the second sim does not give the 4g option. I an in Australia where 3g is going to be dismantled and 4g is the most common. I tried to change sim tray ( sim1 or 2) but it still gives only 5g/lte/3g/2g as possible network mode.
In Australia I have a Telstra sim and their automatic message says:
Hi, you are in a 4G only area. Your device does not have 4G voice calling capability enabled. This means you may not be able to make voice/emergency calls in this area.
Is there a device limitation? S23 not able to support 4g on the secondary sim?
