Notice top three window panes on the right side. There are bricks on the wall but in the picture it's totally blown up.

Is anyone facing camera oversaturation issue with s23 ultra ?

Thank you for your input! I know it's unusual but yes, I would prefer a "true to life" image over unexpectedly post-processed anytime. At the risk of using a bad metaphor (lol, please bear with me), it's kinda like ordering plain ham and getting a smoked one; when you had a specific recipe in mind but now need to tweak things in order to accommodate for the unwarranted difference. I have the same mindset with photos. I want them "raw" so I can "cook them up" exactly how I want to, and that's if I do decide to edit afterwards.

There have been a few times when I've captured a really nice shot only to have the auto-enhancing ruin the color values, contrast, etc. The sample photo I've provided demonstrates how the auto-enhancing significantly changes what should have been the result.

Try taking the photo in Pro mode; you'll have complete control over the exposure, including white balance. (It's under "More..." in the various options listed under the viewfinder.)

Another possibility is to download a third-party app like Open Camera from the Google Play Store, plus there's Samsung's Expert RAW camera app in the Galaxy Store that often produces more realistic-looking images.

Oh, also in the Galaxy Store is Camera Assistant, which can be used to tweak some of the post-processing of the built-in camera app.

Thank you for this. I tried it in PRO mode and it does stay true to the viewfinder image; that is, until you switch to 3:4 50MP. But it helps to know there is a non-auto enhancing option!

It's not true RAW mode and it's extremely hard to get those images remotely close to the good aspects of the auto photos. It's not worth using expert or pro even today 4+months out

My new s23 ultra's photos are totally disappointing, no better than my Note 10+. Is there a software issue or what? Wjy did I spend that money?
