Samsung Messages keep getting "Upgrade" nag screen

Samsung, can you please give the option to stop seeing that annoying message to "Upgrade to Google Message" when using Samsung message app? I will NOT use Google Message app. I do not want to use any Google apps.

I'm not getting that and try deleting your Google account in manager. It won't delete you just have to sign in again when you hit Playstore or Youtube. Disable that messenger app and use the Samsung one. That's what I did. Not getting any nag screens.

They're phasing it out, it will eventually lose support and certificates and not work at all.

This is so obnoxious. I'm with the top comment, I will not use Google messages. Does anyone have a different message app they like?

I've tried Microsoft sms organizer but I don't think it's ready for prime time. Issues with blank mms messages, images and misinterpreting tracking numbers as phone numbers. But, they do update it fairly regularly. Worth trying it out. Maybe you'll like it.
