In my opinion Samsung is following Trend with iPhones at this point. Not a whole lot differentiates them from each other. No SD card and now they're making it where you can't customize much. I can't even move the microphone in the bottom corner now after they're update. Why is it there updates always makes more things difficult or worse. Taking away features that we like and telling us that they can't do it even though the phones have the price can have SD cards headphone jacks down more customizations LOL

You can't put the microphone icon back where it was before, but you can add that function to the spacebar.
Go to Settings > General Management > Samsung Keyboard settings > Swipe, touch, and feedback > Touch and hold spacebar. Change the setting to Voice Input. Now you can activate voice input by long-pressing the spacebar.
