My phone has all automatic updates (version, samsung, and google) turned off; I have been ignoring the June security update as it pushes more AI junk and games.
A security update that provides hackers with more access to the phone.
Yet my phone just auto-updated without permission. Me ignoring it, choosing not to give hackers access to my phone; is not considered permission to put anything on my phone.
Samsung does not do that. No one with a factory unlocked phone gets them. So, it was either something you allowed or your carrier is lying to you, or the CS reps don't know the score.
