I've added a screen protector to my Galaxy s23 Ultra and now the fingerprint sensor hardly response to my fingers. Is this normal šŸ¤”šŸ™„šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

It will be a little bit slower maker sure you have touch sensitive turned on under Display settings

You could get a different screen protector, one with a cutout over the fingerprint scanner, but as @GaryB82 stated, just turn on the touch sensitivity.

I've always used Whitestone domeglass and never had a issue with the scanner

Try to re-register your fingerprint, press with one thumb then the other all the way to register and make 2 or 3 of them, this sped it up for me.
