Text messages not working

I cannot send or receive texts. This is the second time this has happened. The first time, Verizon replaced my phone. Now, it is happening again.

Yeah your right about one thing, it's definitely a Verizon issue. Your phone is almost 80%, sure, it's not your phone, it's Verizons service. I had this issue about a month ago, and had to reactivate my phone almost everyday , and then they would work for a while , then do it again. I had Straight talk, but I had Straightalk Verizon side. I got a little bit tired of having to miss important texts, because I wouldn't know if I had any or not, reactivated it one day, and after it booted up, I got 15 texts ,all at one time, that I knew nothing about. So I would call Verizon, and make them fix that problem.

What messaging app are you using?

If you switch to Google Messages and turn on RCS chats, you will no longer experience these problems!

I'm using Samsungs default now, my problem was I another phone of mine, yet it was still VeriZon . I have always liked Verizon, I'm Verizon now, but, after the ice storm that we had around here I 2009, it just seems like Verizon never did so right again.
