I bought a new phone and sent trade-in phone back to Samsung on Nov. 25 2024.

According to Samsing email I received on Nov. 30, the trade-in device was received on November 30, 2024 (19 days ago, 14 business days ago). FedEx sent a proof of delivery to my email address too.
Samsung Customer service confirmed (in chat and by phone) that the trade-in device received by Samsung.

I still do not see the confirmation on my Samsung account page despite the fact that 14 business days already passed since November, 30, 2024 and trade-in phone is not inspected yet.

Does Samsung wait until the phone is not turning on? The phone was turned off, but even in this state the battery will not keep forever. Who should I contact now? Samsung Customer Service is useless and since yesterday the chat does not work.

Trade-in status is available only on account page

In any case, I managed to reach Samsung Customer Service and they marked trade-in as closed ("no chargeback will be done for trade-in of order# xxxxxx")

I Google this, and it said this/ side note, I only think it will give you an email and not on your account page...,

The confirmation for your amsung trade-in should be in your email inbox. You should have received an email confirming that Samsung has received your trade-in device. If you can not find the email, you can also check the status of your trade-in on the Samsung website.
To check the status of your trade-in on the Samsung website, please follow these steps:
* Go to the Samsung website.
* Click on the "Support" tab.
* Click on the "Trade-in" link.
* Enter your trade-in order number.
* Click on the "Submit" button.

Samsung did the same to me, retuned my old phones told me on the phone that their techs broke it and didn't want to give me credit. If they don't give you credit, open a case with your bank, they will reverse it. Samsung uses third party for their inspection, most third parties are dishonest, and rightfully so, they get paid next to nothing.
