Galaxy S25This update is sucking the life out of my battery and freezing my phone up. The screen goes half black, freezes up and the phone reboots itself after a few minutes. This needs to be fixed. None of enjoy paying for phones that we can't use

Galaxy S25For now, you can try clearing your system cache, which can help clean up any old temp files that could be contributing to your battery issues.
To wipe the system cache,
Turn off the device.
Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Side key.
When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear.
Press the Volume down key several times to highlight Wipe cache partition.
Press Side key to select.
Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Side key to select.
When the process is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
Press the Side key to restart the device.
Unlike a master reset, wiping the cache partition does not delete your personal data. Turn off the device. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power key. When the Android logo displays, release both keys. An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight the Wipe cache partition. Press the Power key to select. Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Power key to select. Galaxy S25Did you perform a wipe cache partition afterwards?
It's crucial to do this after a major update, it gets rid of accumulated ghost temporary files that can effect battery life.
There is a pinned post called Best Practices with tips and tricks to keep your device in good working order.
Your phones is a computer, you take care of your PC, you have to do the same as your phone. You should routinely reboot your phone 2x a week.
