I want to be aple to use the Accessibility Button on lower right of Navigation bar to power off myephone. I could do it on my OnePlus 9 Pro, but can't figure how to implement it on my S23 Ultra… Please advise… Thanks in advance, Varzil

Are you saying the you want to use the right 'Navigation Bar' button to power off the phone?Screenshot_20230528_054817_Settings.jpg

If yes, I'm sorry, but you can't.

In my opinion that would be an awful user experience. You could easily hit the side button unintentionally and waste time restarting the phone.

It's better to do a two finger swipe down and open the Quick Access panal and tap the Power botton there.Screenshot_20230528_055742_One UI Home.jpg

Thanks for the reply, but pls allow me to clarify, I was not cle-r enough! On my OnePlus 9 & S23 Ultra, when pressing the figure of a person on the lower right corner, of the Navigation Bar, I get a popup radio box, labled at the bottom: Edit Shortcuts.

On my OnePlus 9 Pro, I get the following options, represented by buttons: Assistant, Accessibility Settings, _Power_, Volume Down, Volume Up, Recent Apps, Brightness Down, Brightness Up, Lock Screen, & on the 2nd screen, after pressing the right-pointing arrow, Quick Settings, Notifications, & Screenshot.

All of which launch the respective shortcuts… HOWEVER, on the Power shortcut, I get a screen that pops up with two circles, on the top & bottom, with a central circle that I can tap & drag to either end. They are marked 'Restart' (top) or 'Power Down' (bottom)... so there would be no accidental, traumatic power downs.

BTW my S23 only lists the following shortcuts Accessibility, Keyboard Companion, & (a one of my ) 3rd party apps- Menu Button.

I want to be able to add the 'Power' shortcut; so I can choose Restart, or Powerdown & thereby minimize the wear&tear on the physical power button(s); & to be able to do it mbre quickly by tapping on the correct objects on the screen.

My OnePlus 9 is running Android 11 or 12 & the S23 Ultra is running v13.

Any idea of how to add the 'Power' shortcut in Android 13 ?

I think opening quick panel and tap power button as mentioned before is more convenient, but if you really want to use the Accessibility button, you can do that.

Settings >> Accessibility >> Interaction and dexterity >> Assistant menu >> toggle Assistant menu shortcut

When you touch the Accessibility button, the circle will appear. When you touch the circle, it will show you the power button option.Screenshot_20230528_093030_Accessibility_1000000715_1685280630.pngScreenshot_20230528_093045_Accessibility_1000000717_1685280646.pngScreenshot_20230528_093418_Accessibility_1000000722_1685280858.pngScreenshot_20230528_093140_Accessibility_1000000720_1685280700.png

Play store, try Shutdown, no ads seen yet, but donate request, needs accessibility access, seems to work with no root or other permissions. Put the button anywhere you want on the home screen. I looked but couldn't come up with anything else that easy. The S23u doesn't appear to have many accessibility shortcuts as some had.

One other way to the power menu is Samsung Good Lock One Hand Operation side gestures. Can assign it there, pops up with a swipe. A bit of setup, but Good Lock has a lot of useful features. Good Guardians for battery, etc. feedback. Both by Samsung in the Samsung store.
