Galaxy S23After the last software update, vibration notifications appear to be broken on my s23 Ultra.
Initially, I assumed that the vibration motor had failed. If I put my ear against the phone, I can hear a very faint vibration when a notification is receieved.
However, the vibration is working fine for three functions on the phone. First, if I toggle between silent/vibrate/speaker in the pulldown menu, there is a normal vibration when I set it to vibrate.
Second, on the screen where haptic feedback is enabled, when it is toggled on, there is a vibration.
And third, when I use the back gesture (swipe from left edge of screen) the haptic vibration works fine.
So the motor has not failed.
Vibration intensity is set to full and vibration is enabled for all apps.
As mentioned, when notifications are received, the vibration is only detected if I put my ear on the back of the phone.
