WhatsApp Audio STOPS at 30 seconds

I have a Galaxy S23. For some time now, at least with the last two updates, I have noticed that when I listen to WhatsApp voice messages that are longer than 30 seconds and put the phone to my ear, the screen turns on and the audio stops after 30 seconds.

I have also tried in Galaxy S24 and same issue.

I am not the only one with this problem.

Will Samsung fix this issue?

I don't think it's supposed to be a Samsung issue since it's also happening on another phone. Maybe WhatsApp will fix this.

As far as I know, it only happens in Galaxy phones. As I told before, it happens to me in S23 and S24 phone.

Have you've tried with a different phone other than Samsung?

It is a Samsung issue. It started after the last Samsung update and and only happens on Samsung phones. My son has a S20+ with this issue, I have a S23 with this issue. My other son has an iPhone 15, no issue. My wife has a Pixel 6A no issue. 

It is a Samsung problem. After many years considering change phone brand.

Only Samsung phones.... I will change to other brand

I think is a problem of  recent system update and I hope will be fixed soon!
