Where do I change setting so apps can't download without specific permission? I went to settings and apps but couldn't find it. Apps are just showing up on my phone. Thanks.

Do you have a carrier locked phone?  If you do, apps will just show up, as that's the price you pay for any discounts/perks you get from your carrier, or just because they can. And I believe it can also bypass the autoblocker.
