Assign different text alerts for different contacts? S24+

On my note20 I could have one tone for texts from my sister, 1 tone for best friend, etc etc. Is that possible on S24+? My gods I really need it

Go to their contact and click the 3 dots at the bottom and click change ringtone/vibration. That should help 😊

Yea it let me assign different ringtone for incoming calls but I also need specifically for texts

Open your text message app and follow the same process as you did for calls

Go to notifications > advanced settings > conversations - here you should be able to change the notifications for each contact after adding them as a conversation. There may be an easier way to do this but you have to use the floating notification bubbles and then when a contact sends a notification you open it on as a bubble to add it as a conversation.
