Automatic entry of otp in apps

On apple once a otp is sent it automatically posts it into whatever app is requiring it. 

The way samsung does is is sub par in comparison. 

For so many people acting like androids are elite there's some very basic functions I'd expect to be executed better for the price of the device.

@LastShetBender710 This does work with many apps. The developers of the individual app have to code their apps to have the option to grab the OTP from the incoming text message.

I agree with @LongHiker  I use google messages and almost all otp codes I get pop up to auto fill in the selected app that requests the code

It doesn't even work well when I use Google at times. Had NO issues on my iPhone. If android is the better option why aren't more people coding for it?

Was so hyped to switch back to android and there's some things that feel quite lackluster
