Why is my battery draining so fast

Wow! Care to elaborate? What are you doing? What apps do you have open? How much screen time are you getting per day? Anything else you could provide would allow someone to possibly help you.

Videos use a lot of battery resources, the screen uses tremendous battery resources. For some reason, Insta uses a lot of resources The combination is what's causing the most drain. Download Good Guardians from the Galaxy store and the battery tracker module to see what else is eating your battery. You may have short periods of overheating because of running videos. Overheating drains battery. Unoptimized apps drain battery. Everything you do on your phone uses battery, it's a matter of how much and for how long you do certain activities. The Good Guardians modules should help you manage your battery use.

Thats really odd. Battery life on my S24 Ultra seems to have increased after Beta 3.

It could be because of your battery capacity

Best thing to do is go into settings. Find battery and it shows amount of time used on different apps running in background and even how much data or battery being used on average or daily. This way you can close no longer used apps or uninstall them.

You mentioned in a reply you have the S24, be aware it only has a 4000mah battery and if you work the chip it eats he battery. You also guessed 8 hours of screen time, if you are getting them much time out of it your doing great. Some days I only get 4 hours of screen on time if I am lucky. This afternoon I plugged it in at 21% with 4hr9min of SOT, that was from 100% full charge.

You can check you SOT by going to settings, battery, and click the graph and it will give you details on usage and which apps used the most time. You can also see which apps are using the most battery time.
