I am having trouble with my camera not registering the location of the footage I've taken. Location is on and on precise. I tried resetting camera settings and tried turning the location off and back on. I also tried putting it on ask evrey time. No luck.

Galaxy S24Sone locations don't lend themselves to location. I have some videos taken in the middle of the ocean and had to add the location. Others have the correct spot. I think it might depend on the satellite position at the time you take the shot.

Galaxy S24Again, it might just be that the GPS is not reaching the satellite signal at the time you took the video. It could also be that even though you have precise location on, that Google maps needs recalibration. You do this by centering the locator dot where you are, pull up the slider down at the bottom, where it says "your location" and tap "calibrate" and follow the instructions.

Galaxy S24I understood what you are saying. The location accuracy is informed by Google maps and must be calibrated. It is also very possible that you are standing a fraction of an inch out if the satellite location field (even if you think you are in the exact same spot as a previous video/photo, or the field is obscured at the moment you took the shot. Are you getting location on *any* photos/vidoes or just some? If it's all, then it's probably a phone/camera issue. If it's some it's a calibration or satellite issue.
Run a diagnostic on the phone to see if there's an issue with the location sensor. If you phone is under warranty, request service. Put in an error report to see if there's another issue causing this.
