I've noticed since the October update that my Galaxy S24 Plus 5G no longer has the "Super Fast Charging" option under battery settings?
Now when I use my 25 watt or 45 watt charging blocks, it constantly starts/stops charging. Now I have to go back to using an old school regular charging block.
My dad had the same issue when he got his, and now I'm having the same issue. My new phone won't fast charge; it will regularly charge but not fast, using the cord and a Samsung super-fast charging block. It won't work using a cord rated for 100W; it won't work using new cords. So don't try to say it's the cord or the charging block; that's not the issue. P.S. Brand-new phone, so it isn't the charging port that is clogged. What can I do to fix this? I'm starting to get frustrated; it takes hours to charge my phone. BTW, it was working before the most recent update. If it's the update, what can I do?
I am facing the same issue. I have a 60w super fast adapter and 5A cable it just showed only once that it is super fast charging 2.0. It is taking me 2 hrs to charge my phone.
I have spent more than 80 dollars and bought a 65w adapter and 5A cable, but still my mobile is not able to super fast charge. Is my decision in buying a Samsung over an iPhone a mistake or just samsung is great at selling defective products ?
Samsung doesn't sell a 65 watt phone adapter. Also super fast charging is 45 watts. You probably just bought a power brick that doesn't support the charging standard
