Deleted messages in Google Messages and cannot recover them

Google messages is trash as heck I mistakenly deleted my messages and now I can't recover them. I have been a Samsung user for years but after this I'm going to apple

It's pointless to use an app or try to force an app that doesn't have an recycle bin like leave Google to the pixel and Samsung to itself

If you kept the messages they should of been transferred to Google messages if you choice the upgrade option in Samsung messages which are now gone

I'm not sure if you know this, but.. You can still use the Samsung message app. You can choose not to upgrade to Google message app... Google message app needs more stuff in the app, they want to push it badly on Samsung users and won't hear what we the users want. I am disappointed with how things are going with Samsung. I'm not ready to set jet just yet, and I am hoping Samsung gets there things straight.

Samsung Messages is going away because none of the US mobile carriers have their own RCS server now, and Samsung definitely will not spend money to set up its own RCS server. So, you will be stuck with just SMS without RCS on Samsung Messages.

There are many SMS-only apps like Textra, SMS Organizer by Microsoft, etc., if you do not want RCS.
