Emergency alert received late

Everyone I know has an iPhone and they all received an earthquake alert at the time of the earthquake or seconds before. I have an s24 Ultra and I got my alert 15 minutes after the earthquake. It was not the carrier because they have the same carrier as I do. Why am I receiving my earthquake alerts 15 minutes after the fact?

Well interesting because we all have the same carrier. Apple is a clear winner if it gets important emergency alerts on time. Shame on Android.

Just my 2 cents ios and android are 2 separate systems so will not be same in how they function to alerts i.e speed or timing but I do agree the alerts should be same on when received

Yes, after all, what is the purpose of an emergency alert if it is 15 minutes after the emergency occurred. By that time everybody has already figured it out. 😂

I agree it could be a matter of the agency needs to address forget name at moment
