I can not get notifications when i get a text message i have tried to uninstaol reinstall turn the phone off and back in nothing works.

     Open Google Messages.

⁃   Click the Picture (top right)  ≻
⁃   Messages Settings   ≻
⁃   Notification  ≻
⁃   Notifications Categories  ≻
⁃   Click on "Incoming Messages" text  ≻
      (not the switch on/off)
⁃   Make sure "Alert" is on  ≻

I dont have a notificatiins categories

⁃   Settings  ≻
⁃   Notifications  ≻
⁃   Advanced Settings  ≻
⁃   Turn "Manage Notification
     Categories for Each App" On .

Then try it again.

That was already on i turned it off and back on nothing

⁃   Notifications  ≻
⁃   Allow Notifications Must be On  ≻
⁃   Notification  Categories  ≻

     (Scroll Down for It)

⁃   Click on "Incoming Messages" text  ≻
      (not the switch on/off)
⁃   Make sure "Alert" is on  ≻
