Is Samsung Mesages going away?

I heard Samsung Messages is not going to be on samsung phones anymore Is this true? I've always preferred Samsung Messages over Google Messages.

New model going forward not have Samsung messages installed but can download from the store as I haven't heard it going away for everyone I would say it will still work

I am still using it on my s24 plus. It transferred from my Note 20. I plan on using it as long as I can.

No, Samsung Messages is not going away... However, Google Messages will be the priority messaging application for Galaxy devices. If you prefer Samsung Messages, you can always download it on the Google Play Store and make it your default messaging application!
