Failed January Update

Trying to update my S23 Ultra with the most recent update but it keeps failing. I have a locked Verizon phone. Everytime I try to update, it's super slow and eventually fails giving my "Error Code: 407". I tried clearing cache, clearing data, restarting my phone, using Smart Switch, switching between wifi and data, switching between different wifi networks. I have enough space on my phone (300gb free). If I knew what the error code meant, I could diagnose further. Google hasn't been helpful. Samsung support hasn't been helpful. They are telling me to manually flash my device but I wanna leave that as a last resort. Any suggestions?

The first product with the new software was announced today, the S25. The official software release for the S24 is supposed to be shortly after the release of the S25. So, it's looking like the S24 will be getting the new software in early February at the earliest.

Beta here was with t-mobile and s24 series Verizon doesn't participate in beta

Im starting to think verizon accidentally made it available but it wasnt actually ready and that's why only verizon users are having the exact same issue. I have an update error still there with the update itself no longer available to try to update to get rid of the error. No new update history either so it didn't update. It said android 15 which is one ui7.

Then why would all our phones say 15 and keeps trying to download? Hmmm

I did the partition cache reset. Still cant get the download to complete.

it 's not android 15, it's security update 15.

I'm having the same issue with my S24 Ultra. The download is very slow and it never completes but gives me a failed error 407

I am trying to update my s24 to the security update 15, and it has failed 4 times and is now installing but taking very long. It's been 4 hours and it's it 26%. I have very fast internet,tons of storage still and I don't know why.

Cancel the installation of the new update and reset the phone
