I can't go into my messaging and message one person it just closes out the app when I try and click on one contacts name. I just switched phoned yesterday and all my messages are going to my old phone still not this one even though I transfered the number. I tried to find chat features but I can't find it in my settings.
From what I've come to understand rcs needs to be turned off before you switch your old number to your new one messaging won't work properly at all and you'll have to wait around 8 days for things to be fully functional on the new phone. As for my app forcolsing on the messenger foe my one contact I have no idea I've tried updating, clearing the catch etc.
Could be that the port isn't complete if you can make calls on new phone than maybe setting in message try calling or texting the number from another phone and see if new phone is working
