No E-Sim option on Sim Manager

Hi all.  Very pleased to have a new Samsung Galaxy 24.  My device is un-locked. I am trying to install an eSIM to use whilst travelling.  However, there is no option to add an eSIM in SIM Manager.  I have been in touch with my mobile provider and they have said there are no problems on their side.  The phone software is up to date.  Any ideas? I am travelling today.
