Hello. Everyone that has Pre Ordered a Galaxy S24, S24+ or S24 Ultra, you can post any order or tracking updates here.

This thread is for Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra pre-orders!

Usually, we try to include the following information:

- Date ordered:

- Where did you order from (samsung.com, carrier, retailer, etc.):

- Unlocked or Carrier variant:

- Model, storage capacity, Color:

- Did you trade-In:

- Estimated delivery date:

Then, once it ships, please come back and post an update with the same information above, but the actual stated shipping and delivery dates, and maybe even let us know once it's received.

I am very concerned about this. I have my cart
loaded and ready to go on the Samsung site for the s24. But this is a deal breaker. How do you know this solution works?

I was wrong, thought I saw a YouTuber say you can get it back.
So no, as of now, that feature is gone!

I was checking the setting on S24 Ultra displayed in a store and there really is no way to hide it! The sales person even unlocked it from the showroom mode or what it was to try update and no - no option to hide it. I was thinking of switching from my Note9 to S24 Ultra, but this seems like a big No for me. There is no need for it, I know what pull-up gesture does, the same way we dont need gesture hints for back button when using gestures from side of display.

I would be really glad if Samsung made official statment wheter it is going to stay this way, or there will be option to hide the hints. There is already many discussions on Reddit (Samsung, OneUI even Android subreddits) and I would like to know how things are going to be - there seems there is no official statement from Samsung yet

I use the Google gestures anyway, but I definitely agree about not being able to hide the gesture hint. It's functionally totally unnecessary

Testing at bestbuy on the S24 Ultra and we no longer have the option to use our galaxy wallpapers as an always on wallpaper with One UI 6.1. Please @samsung bring this feature back.

Do you think it's disabled because it's in demo mode, and they don't want people changing settings or adding obscene pictures to the display model?

Update
You can use your gallery wallpapers on the S24 Ultra but you have to click on the option for your aod to use your lockscreen wallpapers.

In the gallery the following options are available.

Lock Screen
Home Screen
Lock and Homescreen
Call Background

Samsung removed the always on display from that list cause you can turn on in your aod use lockscreen images. This is the new Apple Always On Display. Also it's interesting to know you can use the color wheel on the lockscreen to give your aod clocks any color and you can make them bigger on the lock screen and they'll be bigger on the aod. No new clockfaces same as we've had.

Looks like the S24 series still won't have emergency satellite texting like the iPhone 14 and 15.  When will the S24 get this valuable feature, if at all?  Anyone have any info?

That was going to be my sole reason to upgrade, right up until all the AI nonsense was announced and canceled that out. I then was still surprised to hear nothing about emergency satellite texting, after a year of rumors.
