Hello. Everyone that has Pre Ordered a Galaxy S24, S24+ or S24 Ultra, you can post any order or tracking updates here.

This thread is for Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra pre-orders!

Usually, we try to include the following information:

- Did you trade-In:

Then, once it ships, please come back and post an update with the same information above, but the actual stated shipping and delivery dates, and maybe even let us know once it's received.

Are you enjoying the phone other than the issues with the screen and camera? I'm excited to try the AI features. This is a different dilemma; since the S23 Ultra will receive some of those features, I wish we knew which ones. It shouldn't be this problematic to make a decision. Lol.

i upgraded from a note 20 ultra 5. only issue i have is with mp3 files and playlists. i believe i have all the mp3 files in the correct folders but thd playlists are not complete. 1600 files to deal with...

I used to have the Note 20 Ultra also. I love that phone! I bet you're finding a big difference with the camera, Etc with the newer s24 Ultra. At least I hope you are. I definitely found a the difference with my S23 Ultra. Thank you for letting me know and for your comment

I upgraded from the s23 ultra and I have to say I'm disappointed the phone feels great lighter the flat screen is amazing however it looks way worse the colors are odd the color banding makes things look pixelated I want to love it but samsung won't acknowledge something is seriously flawed and I'm scared to trade in my s23 ultra.

Thank you for your response. It sounds as though you like it and would like it even more so if it didn't have the color issues. Have you had a chance to compare your camera to your S23 Ultra? Actually, if the color is off that much and it looks pixelated, then your photos would look the same.
I hope there is an update soon, and hopefully, you will all come back and tell me your thoughts.

S23 Ultra vs S24 Ultra 

UPGRADE REASON
I upgrade phones basically every year no matter what.
This is a gift I give to myself for working very hard at my job. 😎

SCREEN
I used to love the curved screen on previous Ultra / Note phones.
But I'm loving the S24U flat screen way better now.

FINISH
Really love the titanium frame especially the matte finish. Way better looking than the S23U.

ANTI-REFLECTING GLASS
The Corning Gorilla Armor Glass does a great job with reflections.

SCREEN ISSUES
No difference. If there's banding or any other issue, both S23U & S24U phones show the same amount.
I need to do more tests.

VIVID MODE
I prefer not to talk about it.

SPEAKERS
A bunch of people complaining about tiny/ no bass sound.
My S23U & S24U phones sound identical with any kind of source.

SIGNAL STRENGHT
Also getting a lot of complaints.
I see no difference.
But I need to do more tests.

PROCESSOR 
Unlike many people, I don't have a lot apps installed. And I use a custom launcher (Nova). Also, I have not too many icons on home screen. I like to keep the bare  minimum.  So usually my phones run fast anyway. I'm not going to compare this.

BATTERY PERFORMANCE
The S24U is a bit worse. But I'm still playing with many settings / apps  so I can't give an answer yet.

BATTERY CHARGING

Using a 45W Charger. Both phones 50% charged.

S23U - 42 Minutes Until Full

S24U - 45 Minutes Until Full

OTHER FEATURES / SETTINGS
Haven't had the chance to play with them yet. I'll update info soon.

That was a great review, precisely what I am looking for, with a lot of detail.
I appreciate the time it took you to write all this out.
I agree. I worked very hard and thought the same thing. I keep asking myself, do I need to upgrade? No, I love my S23 Ultra. Last year was the first time I bought myself the latest and greatest.
When I did it, that was my thought process of how hard I worked. Kids are all grown, and it was cool to get something I wanted. I love Samsung phones and how I can customize my phone, and for the camera, I love taking pictures!

It's great to hear a positive instead of the negative that I've been hearing about the S24 Ultra.

Regarding the problem with the Vivid colors, I keep my phone in natural mode because it's less strain on my eyes.

So, my main focus is whether they fix the camera issues with an update.

Then it won't be an issue for you.

Set Screen Mode to Natural on both phones and you won't be able to see a difference in color punchness... Maybe just a tiny bit in favor of S23U.
