There have been YouTube videos that have stated that RCS messaging has returned to the S25 series in the Samsung Messaging App. Will this update also be applied to the S24 series and will Samsung update the Samsung Messages to be on par with Google Messages? I'd honestly prefer the Samsung Messaging app.

I understand that. What i meant was is will it allow it to do reactions and other features that Google Messages has?

Okay, I see. They have the basics. I wish they do that too.

The reason I want to know is because there are rumors swirling around that it has been updated and it's already in Korea.

Yes RCS has stopped for various versions. Carrier version has stopped and Google may have finally opened up Jibe setup for 3rd party messaging apps. Verizon has switched completely to Jibe nad T-Mobile has not. If you use the old version of Messages you will use the carrier version, but the newer version will send everything as SMS/MMS.

Yes they went to Jibe completely. T-Mobile plans to do that but hasn't completely done it.
