Ringtones won't play

I want to change the ringtones on my new S24 ULTRA, but the tones won't play when I select them. Suggestions?

If you're trying to change ringtones for different apps, make sure this is on:

⁃   Settings  ≻
⁃   Notifications  ≻
⁃   Advanced Settings  ≻
⁃   Turn "Manage Notification
     Categories for Each App" On .

I assume you added them to the ringtone folder and can select them.  Can you play them when you select them from either a media player app, or directly by tapping it from within the file manager? Is it possible they are in the wrong audio format for the phone app?

@Bonnie7491 May sound simple but do you have the sound setting set to Mute?
