I don't have any ideas, but I did want to let you know that I have the same problem. Especially the battery drainage. I don't have too much excessive heat, but the battery goes in like an hour. It seems like of being on my phone. It goes so fast with the rest of the phone.I don't have any complaints aboutšŸ‘

I suggest doing maintenance thru Device Care and maybe making sure to clean memory. Also? Turn the screen down. I use dark mode all the time. And last thing use the phone in Power Saving mode.

I have no complaints with the phone either. I came from an iPhone after a bad experience with it.. I only get like an hour of on screen time granted my I use my phone for work mainly phone calls and a few texts here and there.

Try These:

1) Wipe Cache Partition:

2) Change Performance Profile:

Totally agree especially about the battery. The promise in buying this s24 was that the battery would operate a whole day which is why I upgraded from my Note 20. Totally untrue. As someone who does gig work I use two or three apps and navigation and by 4 hours I have to recharge the phone. It's not a full day battery, not even close unless you're not using any apps. And yes it heats up while charging.
Cannot use battery saver mode with these apps as notifications are constant and location service is required.

When they say your battery will last the whole day, they basically mean just being on, not being used. Your battery life is totally dependent on how you use your phone - heavy screen on time, music, and videos use much more battery power than just texting and getting notifications. Under normal usage, it should last about 18 hours. It's adaptive and you can check your battery when you take it off the charger to see how long the battery is expected to last given your usage pattern.

Download Good Guardians from the Galaxy store and the Thermal Guardian, the Battery Tracker, and App Booster modules. The Thermal tracker will tell you what is causing overheating, battery tracker will tell you what's using your battery resources and app booster will optimize your apps. You can also download the battery guardian module which has more battery protection settings than the phone's regular settings. These are official Samsung apps, not third party.
