Samsung Messages is trying to force me to switch to Google Messages

 Why is Samsung messaging trying to send me to Google Messages?

 The first thing I don't like about Google Messages is that it doesn't have trash like Samsung and if it does, where is it, could someone help?

I get it - I've worked in product in mobile. However the problem here is they're forcing us onto an app with fewer features and essentially deprecating the one that actually works. Of course there is a backlash. I've made the switch and I hate it. I cannot understand how Google dominates the market with it's subpar products.

I have denied the update and selected "don't ask me again." Google has the ability to spy using the cloud.

No way will I switch to a keylogging Google spyware messaging app. You guys have lost your minds giving Big Brother our info so willy-nilly. We're the product. They're training their AI on our private data. This is exactly how you get charged with crimes of the past in the future when AI determines what you said years ago is illegal and dangerious for the status quo. Nothing is private on Google's terms. As soon as Samsung disables the Samsung messaging app, I ditch Samsung FOREVER. Traitors.
