Lol. Even after the One UI 7 update the Samsung store still thinks Netflix needs to be updated. Even though Netflix was downloaded and updated through Google play.

Swipe out the Galaxy store and see if it still there.

The message from the Samsung Galaxy Store is accurate, when you download an app from a specific app store (like Google Play Store or Samsung Galaxy Store), that store becomes responsible for managing and updating that particular installation of the app.

But it was never downloaded from Samsung store. So why would Samsung says it needs to be updated but also say it can't be updated because it was downloaded from Google play

As in the picture it says "can't auto update Installed from google play store" which means it can't be auto updated from the Galaxy store. and what @angelchained said.

You can't manually update either.

Than you can update it from the Google play store.

Up to date via Google. I'm pretty sure there's a conflict between the the APIs causing Samsung to think there's an update

Ignore the update prompt in the Galaxy Store: The message in the Galaxy Store is informing you that it can't handle the update for this specific installation. You don't need to take any action there.
It's not an error that the app is showing up in the Galaxy Store; it's more of an informational message about where the app originated and how it should be updated.
