After One UI 7 update on my S24Ultra, my THX ONYX external dac not recognized, nor does the USB Audio Player Pro innitiate connection to the external dac. I have already followed previous instructions to clear the Cache partition. And after restart the problem remains. Both the THX ONYX and the USB Audio Player Pro have been working properly for the past year under One UI 6.

What's the solution?

I would suggest clicking on the support tab and submitting a error report so Samsung can see the issue your having and could provide a fix.  In the meantime you can try wiping the cache partition to see if that helps

To clear the cache partition on a Samsung Galaxy S24, you need to access the Recovery Mode. Then, navigate to "Wipe cache partition" using the volume keys and select it with the power buttonAfter confirming the wipe, you can reboot the device.

Here's a step-by-step guide

    1. Turn off your device: Power off your Samsung Galaxy S24.

    2. Enter Recovery Mode: Press and hold the Side key and the Volume Up button simultaneously.

    3. Navigate to Wipe Cache Partition: Use the volume keys to scroll down and select "Wipe cache partition".

  • Confirm Wipe: Press the power button to select "Yes".

  • Reboot: Once the cache partition is wiped, select "Reboot system now" and press the power button to restart your device.

Follow up on my problem with USB AUDIO PLAYER PRO & external THX ONYX dac amp not being recognized after One UI 7 update on my S24Ultra. I did the recomended Cache wipe. It still didn't work.
But then I ran the built-in tests on the phone and when it got to the section to test external speaker it did activate the both the USB Audio Player Pro and the THX ONYX dac amp. Problem seems resolved.
