Smart Select to GIF

We lost the new smart select functions after the new updates !

It was the best and most common function I use....smart select as video or GIF ?

ANYONE KNOWS how to complain and restore this function. ?

Supposedly they're planning on reimplementing it via a software update since it's been a huge sore point recently
