I've had the Samsung24 plus for less than a month,  upgraded from the S21 plus and so far I hate it.  The feel of the phone, the bloatware, the AI that just interferes and messes things up instead of being helpful.

Since the March 2024 update my phone isn't working properly.  I suddenly couldn't get calls from iPhone (which my kids and boss have)   and I would try to send messages to iPhone and they would swirl at me.  I would have to restart my phone for the phone to work again.

Now,  at random moments.... in messages, scrolling through settings,  unlocking the secure folder after restart.... I get an error message bubble that shows up briefly at the bottom of the phone telling me "Something went wrong.  Try again later."

I spent significant time on the phone with Verizon tech service and they had me reset network settings,  and then all settings,  and then mirrored my phone and messed around in it,  and they told me it was a glitch through them and they fixed it,  but it's still doing it; not quite as bad, but still happening.

I see lots of people having problems and errors with their Samsungs, starting with S23, and especially with messaging and trying to communicate with iPhone, so I'm wondering if it's just an inherent malfunction in Samsung?

I have been devoted to Samsung for a decade but $1,000 for a phone that I can't trust and is glitching with no remedy is enough to turn me to a different brand.

If anyone knows of anything,  please let me know.  I've cleared messaging cache, ran virus scans, did system file cleaners that came with the phone (no 3rd party download).  The only thing I haven't done is a factory reset.

So, just today, I was talking with a friend about the Samsung error message and they said they had the issue going from an older Samsung version to a Samsung S23.  They said the problem was because the switchover also transfers over software and settings.  He said the way to get around this is to back up your photos, contacts, personal data to a computer. Factory reset the phone, and just bring your data to the new phone, not your software or settings.  He said he found it was transferring over everything that caused the glitch.  I'm still waiting on a new phone, so not sure if that will work or not, but I can see the logic in that.

I used whatever popped up on the phone asking if I was transferring from another Android, and followed those prompts.  You would think though, the pre-installed software would know to only bring over personal data and information that would NOT cause a glitch or failure in the brand new phone, but I'm no software engineer to say.

Ditto. I got the error message several times (I only kept 24+ for week.) I agree - bloatwear galore - yet basics, like speaker quality, are flat messed up.

It's probably ur call spamming setting because I have that same problem too we're certain phones can't get a hold of me but if you turn off the spam and then turn it back on and it should stop doing that. If it doesn't stop I recommend using Google's phone app instead of Samsungs.

I have the exact same problem. Doing a factory reset doesn't resolve it so don't let any of these fools try to get you to so it. Verizon says it's not their problem since it doesn't have anything to do with their network other than the fact that they sold me this garbage. I've spent weeks troubleshooting with Verizon. Samsung makes you do a factory reset. Verizon told me at best they could give me a used-like new certified phone. No thanks. Someone needs to step up and make this right.
