What is this icon, and where did it come from?

Just this past week or so, this icon just randomly appeared after switching to a different theme. Unfortunately, even switching back to the basic theme doesn't get rid of it at all.

Is this part of some update or something? Is there any way to remove it? Also, my voicemail icon no longer goes away in the phone app either. It's very off center and driving me crazy.

I have the Samsung Galaxy s24 Ultra.

That's video calling

It doesn't act like that, though. When I press it, it adds the most recent phone call to the dial.

Strange that icon is for video calls and voicemail icons are controlled by your carrier what happens when you click the button after it enters a phone number I use Google Meet for my video calls

Okay, it's bringing up the "Meet" and "Video Call" options. It didn't do that earlier before I restarted my phone. I don't remember it ever being there and I've had my phone for almost a year now. Do you know of any way to remove the icon?

Nope the carrier adds it there

You can try this but not sure since the carrier added it check and see if you have the Meet app you can uninstall it to see if it goes away

Nope. Still there. No worries. I'll just have to deal with the minor annoyance. (Sorry I wasn't replying to your messages directly. I didn't see that until now.)
