I transferred my contents from Note 20 5G to S24 Ultra. Phone is always in full screen mode, with the hidden navigation bar. Annoying to always have to swipe up, often starting an underlying app function.

Any ideas how to keep the navigation bar visible? I will create a routine for full screen later if need be.

Thank you in advance for the help.

@userLW3cQ3dsDZ  Open settings and scroll down to Display and select Navigation bar and select Buttons instead of swipe gestures

Sadly buttons was already selected. It behaves like auto hide in Windows, but I can't find a setting for navigation bar always on top šŸ¤·

in the screen shot you posted I see the navigation bar is visible with buttons plus are you using a custom launcher since the buttons don't look like the factory buttons

The home screen was simply modified with Good Lock. Nav bar shows on home screen, but even on settings screen it is hidden and needs to be swiped up.

Is it still doing it if you turn off the show and hide button in Navstar  plus what type of apps is it going full screen on or is always doing it

Good call. Turning off show and hide keeps it visible. I never started Navstar on this phone, possibly a carryover from Note 20. Issue solved, you have my appreciation. Be safe.
