Galaxy S24I really am having problems with the syncing of this phone. my old android had none at all but with Samsung..... I feel as if I have lost control of my settings. When I try to follow suggested links, they do not represent the display that I am seeing. I have gone into the different applications and account settings but cannot figure out a way to change what I am being told should help me.
I am conferring with Microsoft and Samsung but the directions do not concur with each other. Very frustrating. Am not interested in using Google as I am already paying a subscription to 365 because I use it with my pc.
If I delete the Samsung account on my phone will l loose all the capabilities I now have with camera, photos, messaging, etc.?

Galaxy S24Hello Geeky_Grandma, Welcome to the Community. We understand wanting to use the account you already subscribe to for backing up your phone.
The following article provides the steps for backing up your Samsung phone: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002780/
While there is not an option to back up all phone apps and settings to OneDrive, there is an option to sync the Gallery to OneDrive: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002778/
You can back up the phone to your Computer and save the data to the OneDrive account.
Deleting the Samsung account will remove access to all data stored in that account. You will also not have access to functions that require a Samsung account. The camera does require Samsung permissions to work. However, texting is function provided by your service provider. You would need to use an app other than Samsung Messages, but the service should not be limited.
We hope this helps.
